I hope everyone had a good Easter weekend. Joel and I had a great time in sunny Arkansas, the weather was beautiful. I will try and post some pictures tomorrow.

Schedule this week:
Tuesday--11:00 Blood draw, 12:00 Chest X-ray, 1:00 MRI
Wednesday--7:30 Cat Scan Prep(Barium Breakfast), 9:00 Cat Scan
Thursday--11:30 Dr. Brown, Oncologist to receive results from CAT
Friday--9:30 Dr. Vauthey, Surgical Oncologist to tell me when he is going to cut this cancer out of me--BIG MONEY, NO WHAMMIES!!!

Of course these appointment times are a figment of someone's warped imagination over on the island. Everyone keep their fingers crossed for good news this week.

I am calling for a Comment Contest. I can see that 80-100 people from all over the world are reading my blog on a daily basis, but I don't seem to be hearing from many people lately. I could use some words of encouragement this week, so don't be afraid to hit that little comment button and drop me a line! I really enjoy hearing feedback from the blog, right now Brittney and The Hinkleys have racked up the most points to date. Thanks to everyone for all of the continued support, I am sure all of this cancer talk has to be getting boring by now!! I know I am ready to finish this chemo chapter and move on to the surgery chapter!

Woohoo!! I rock! I'm addicted to reading your blog, hence the reason I comment so much. You know me and my family have always loved your witty comments the past 15 years and your blog is a meca of wit and better yet...Hope! I'm lighting candles, saying prayers, and recalling all your good results to date and positive intuition that you are kicking cancer's butt to date and that surgery is just around the corner. I'll be on a plane THurs when you get your results so somebody better call or text me with the results as I will be nowhere near a computer. For once I'll be anxious about something other than flying while I'm on the plane! So do we get bonus points for sarcastic and witty comments in this Contest?! If so I think the Hinkleys and I will be neck and neck for the long haul (toot toot, beep beep)! Love you and I'll talk to you somethime this week...preferrably well BEFORE your Barium breakfast right?!
BTW...love the Press Your Luck line!

Hi Kelly,

We are saying 'big' prayers for you this week....certainly the objective is to remove this cancer from your body....ASAP.

Hope you are feeling reasonably well during all of the medical 'ordeals'....

Val is hanging in there also....low blood counts right now which makes her very tired. We may be looking at a change in chemo regimen next infusion because of it.

Good luck to you, I think of you often. Hi to Joel.

Fondly,

Char

Must....resist...order...to...post...more...comments...derned task master! It's not enough that everyone is following your blog, but then you go and demand comments! (Just like it's not enough that people drive all the way to east San Antonio to help you, but then you nit-pick the sloppy work! Heh. I must admit it's refreshing to know that despite the chemo foggy brain, my friend is still 100%, genuine Kelly!) =) Perhaps I'm the only blog follower that is a bit disturbed by the fact that you can monitor exactly who is visiting your blog. Big brother, is that you? What did I eat for lunch today?

Thoughts & prayers are with you this week. I figure it's safe for me to pray since I've successfully made it in and out of church for the past few years without incident. But if there are any hiccups in the road this week, you can blame it on me for pushing the limits! (or pressing my luck, as it were...Tina Turner whammies be damned!) Upon further reflection, perhaps I'll only lend you my thoughts this week. =)

By the way, Brittney - even collectively, I think we're pretty far behind you! So quit mocking us with your tooting as you vanish over the horizon! =)

Just wanted you to know that you have no idea how many lives you have touched with your witty comments and humor. You are an inspiration to all of us cholangio patients and caretakers and I look forward to reading your blog every morning. I have got to get a picture of Sam on his blog so that everyone knows we do wear shoes down here in Alabama!!!! Our prayers for a good report on your CT are being sent your way. Hang in there.

Lady! Do I win the "calling you contest???" Or, the "we have the same hair contest?? Or, the "you stole my dog pillow contest?" I truly can not allow Brittney and Sarah H. beating me at something! I know, what about the "I can have four pedicures in a week because I want to contest?" I know you are going to beat this cancer thing. I mean, I am already preparing my schedule for your inpatient care! I told my secretary to clear my calendar because I am going to the Island with my friend Kelly. So, she thought I meant somewhere in the Caribbean! Oh, well! I would rather spend three weeks with you at the "Island" than going to any vacation spot in the world. However, I must say I will miss calling you CP or Cancer Patient. For those of you who think that is a weird name for someone going through cancer, well, you just don't know Lester (that is her last name!) Good luck crazy mama! I am here for you always!

Love, Sarah CLINTON not Sarah H!!! (the other lawyer)

Kelly,

I'm praying for you (and contrary to what my wife says, she's praying for you too). Just remember that a positive attitude goes a long way and keep reading Phillippians 4:13. It should be your mantra, along with all those fun "I hate cancer" songs and cheers you have.

Let us know how it goes!!!

Seth
