Kelly passed away last night around 7:00 p.m., I was with her. I will post the arrangements when they are made.

The doctor's thoughts are that she fought this disease within about an hour of her body shutting down.

What a wonderful life we have all had the pleasure of experiencing. What a wonderful women she was.

Joel

Thank you, Joel, for being there with Kelly. We all feel blessed to have had you there with her through all of these difficult times. If only a strong spirit were enough to have kept her here with us. Because, even as a little girl, Kelly was always one of the strongest, livliest people I ever knew. You're in our thoughts and prayers, Joel.

Much love,
Sandra (Muckleroy) Giroir

Joel,
I'm so sorry for you but at the same time happy that she was able to pass on peacefully with you by her side (as always).
I'll be on my way to Houston as soon as I can wrap some things up around here. As hard as I know things must be for you now, I predict you will have an army of support!
Love, Jill

Joel,

I am fond of an Irish prayer that I am sure you know as well. It seems fitting to me now.

"MAY THE ROAD RISE TO MEET YOU... for only you know the true depth of your emotions right now...THE WIND BE ALWAYS AT YOUR BACK...over the weeks and months ahead of you...AND MAY GOD hold you in the palm of His hand."

We are still praying.

I know by now she has already met Sam and they are watching over me and you. I know your pain, your hurt and the grief that you will go through. But if there wasn't any grief, there wouldn't have been any love. Just think how lucky we are to have loved someone so much and had the love from them in return. We are blessed. All my love and prayers are with you.

I am sorry to read of your loss. Although I did not know you or Kelly personally, I read about her progress for the start up until now. I felt very sad.
Keep in mind, God is not the blame for all of our suffering.

My thoughts and prayers are with Joel, Kelly's family and friends. I only wish I had taken the time to stay in touch and get to know such a great person better. I first met Kelly in 5th grade when we were on a softball team together at Memorial Ashford Little League. I new then that she was a very strong person and would fight with all she had. May we all learn to live each day to the fullest. God bless!

To the Lester and Plummer families,

I had the joy of knowing Kelly in middle school and always enjoyed her wonderful laugh and smile. It is my loss that we did not keep in touch over the years. She turned out to be a great woman and was so lucky to have met and married such a wonderful man. Know that Kelly touched many lives and will always be remembered with fondness. May God bless each of you through this difficult time.

Sincerely,
Britt Rowley Schroeter

Dear Joel,
What you are experiencing is one of the most difficult events in a man's life. Our prayer is that God will comfort you with His comfort and that He will sustain you in your grief. The days ahead will be difficult. We will be praying for you. Kelly's sweet southern spirit will be missed.
With Our Deepest Sympathy,
Richard and Nancy Sloan
